Power of Silence

Power of Silence

"Speech is Silver, Silence is Gold ".

Once upon a time there was a boy named Rohan. He was a good body, but one his behavior wasn't good, that he always shouted unnecessarily. He enjoyed to go to various places such as islands, forests, mountain ranges etc.

One day he went to an island with his kinsfolk, which was an earthquake prone region. When they stepped out of their boat they took in a signboard - CAUTION!! Don't make noise; This region is prone to two earthquakes. Everybody started looking their surroundings, but, the boy ran towards the vivid jungle in excitement to explore more about the island and got lost. He essayed to find his other family members, after some time he couldn't find them, he began shouting like any thing and became unconscious. As the region was prone to earthquakes, rocks started trembling, the island started out to shook and big boulders started falling from the mountains.

Hopefully, the rocks stopped trembling, big boulders stopped falling from the mountains, the island stopped out to shook. When Rohan close his eyes and thought, how this calamity came and suddenly stopped!

After thinking for a while he said down at a place opened his bag to have some snacks and found a book titled the 'Power of Silence' on first page it was written 'Silence is the key to every problem; If you will be silent & calm you can solve any problem.' 'If you have patience you can achieve everything easily with a little hard work.'

After reading these words he was very touched. And so he closed his eyes, did meditation and got relaxed. He was completely refreshed.
Afterwards he found a path out of the Jungle. He saw all family members worrying about him. They were pleased to see him back, he then went to his parents and told about the incident.

Then after reaching to the resort back, he promised everyone present there that he will never ever shout unnecessarily. From that day he understood "The Power of Silence.
